SEM-inars and the Student Council
_Quilting_SEM-inar_class
SEM-inar classes are for students who share a common interest and meet for a short time under the direction of the Gifted Services specialist or parent volunteers. Examples of current  SEM-inar classes include the Philosopher's Club and the duck stamp contest for youth. Past classes have included a quilting group, a school newspaper and various presentations by parents.

Students in grades fourth through sixth are involved in the Student Council, which allows students with leadership ability to shine. There is a general election of officers and an individual homeroom election of representatives. The Student

Council meets on a regular basis to plan and carry out school spirit activities and community service projects. The activities involve the whole school as the Council works to make Randolph Heights an even better place to be. School spirit days have included Hat Day, Pajama Day, and Dress up like an Historical figure Day.

The Student Council also runs the school store, providing students with an opportunity to learn bookkeeping and salesmanship skills while providing a service to all. The profits from the store are returned to the student body by paying for materials needed for our Enrichment Cluster classes.
