The Randolph Heights Band is up and running with over 60 members involved this year. "There was an overwhelming response from anxious 5th and 6th graders, and I'm very excited to be able to include so many people," says Ms. Anita McLaughlin, the band director.
Students involved in band receive one group lesson and participate in one full band practice each week. The band performs two concerts a year. The winter concert is on Wednesday, December 19th at 10:00 AM and 2:45 PM. The spring concert is on May 20th at 2:45 and 6:30 PM.
The band will also play the Star Spangled Banner at the "Kids Day at the Saints" baseball game in May, 2008.
