Kindergartners Performing "Love in My Family" - A Very Special Valentines Program!

Beyond the fabulous school-wide events, the kindergartners have some very special events of their own.

Valentine’s Day Program - The Kindergartner’s invite their family and friends to a special evening performance, in which they sing songs and recite poems about love. The children work very hard in the weeks prior to the event, to make it a truly special occasion. Event date 2/13/08.

Cinderella Ball - After having studied Cinderella stories from around the world, the children have an in-class

celebration. Event date 3/25/08.

Author's Publishing Tea - Three times a school year, the children write and publish material that they have written. The first publishing is a fiction story, the second is poetry and the third is non-fiction. These events take place during the school day and the parents are invited to come in and listen to the authors read their work. Event dates 2/11/08, 4/25/08, 5/30/08.

The children are so excited about their newest adventure--READING!!

Book Club - Kindergarteners begin participating in the fabulous Book Club program in early spring (March). They will begin reading books both at home and with wonderful community volunteers. During the school day, kids will read one on one with a volunteer, three times a week for 20 minutes. You will be amazed at how quickly the students progress in their reading skills. Book Club training for parents of current Randolph Heights Kindergartners is on 4/10/08 at 6:30 in the school library.
