The Cat's out of the Bag! Third grade studies Sayings and Phrases

As part of our Core Knowledge curriculum, third graders learn a set of common sayings and phrases.  These idioms can be found throughout literature and the media.  Below is a list of the sayings and phrases learned in third grade.  If you encounter one with your child, please send a note about it to school.  We will post these alongside the phrases in the classroom.  Thanks!
