Physical education is a life-long process of learning. The goal of this Physical Education department is not to bring all learners to mastery level. Rather, this curriculum has been developed to give each student a broad range of experiences. This approach will help bring each student to their highest level of functioning related to kinesthetic or physical education.

With this in mind, there are five major outcomes, or goals, each student will attain. A physically educated student at Randolph Heights:

1. Has learned skills necessary to perform a variety of physical activities.

2. Is physically fit.

3. Does participate regularly in physical activity.

4. Knows the implications of and the benefits from involvement in physical activities.

5. Values physical activity and its contribution to a healthful lifestyle.
