PTA Meetings for 2008-2009
All meetings will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will be held in the library, unless otherwise noted.
October 6 – Executive meeting (standard agenda)
November 3 – Executive meeting (standard agenda)
December 8 – Internet Safety Training (special program)
This meeting will provide parents with great information on monitoring their children’s computer usage. The 4th, 5th and 6th graders will have an assembly earlier in the day which will be followed up with an adult training at the PTA meeting.
January 12 – Executive meeting (standard agenda)
February 2 – Core Knowledge (special program)
The "Core Knowledge" movement is an educational reform based on the premise that a grade-by-grade core of common learning is necessary to ensure a sound and fair elementary education. Attend this event and learn how Randolph Height’s use of the “Core Knowledge” program provides your children with a great education. June 3 – PTA Elections at the School Picnic, we will be electing a Secretary and Vice President.
