Jump Rope For Heart
Every year, Randolph Heights has a Jump Rope For Heart fundraiser for the American Heart Association.  We have done this fundraiser for five years and every year brings a higher record.  Mr. Randrup challenged the students during the 2008-2009 fundraiser to raise $10,000.  If they did that, he offered to have his hair cut.  Though we did not meet that goal, we raised over $8,800.  Because we exceeded expectations, and because we became the first school in the metro area to win the coveted Bronze award from the Alliance for a Healthier Generation, he decided to have an assembly to cut his hair anyway.  Below is the video of that ceremony.
