Student Planners
Student planners are used as a tool to help children organize work in need of completion. Students are responsible for listing homework which has been assigned throughout the school day. This is also a tool to aide communication between teachers and parents. Please feel free to write your child's teacher a note or an excuse for being absent in this book.
Homework
Homework is assigned throughout the school day and is work which is not completed. This work then needs to be taken home to finish. Students who do not finish work on time will lose privileges, have a note sent to their parents, or have their parent contacted by telephone.
Friday Folders
These are folders sent home on the last day of the week. Please take time to review the contents with your child, empty, sign, and return the folder on the next day of school.
Newsletter
There will be a newsletter sent home weekly in the Friday Folder. It will contain news and announcements and a brief overview of the curriculum to be covered.
Telephone calls/Voice mail
There are telephones in the classrooms. In case of emergency, please call the Randolph Heights School office and leave a message. Otherwise, please leave a voicemail at our extensions. Randolph Heights School Office: (651) 293-8780; Carol Dordahl: ext 2407; Patty Haugo: ext 2403
