My name is Joe Flahavan. This my twelfth year of teaching sixth grade.  I was a banker at U.S. Bank for ten years before starting my teaching career.

I am married.  My wife teaches Physical Education and Health at Capitol Hill Magnet School in Saint Paul.  I enjoy reading about history, running, playing soccer and golf.
